Multi-objective optimization for biomass and lipid production by oleaginous bacteria using vegetable waste as feedstock

In this study, pretreated organic wastes such as waste paper cups, cardboard waste, and vegetable were screened for the growth lipid production of oleaginous bacteria DS-7 (isolated from dairy effluent scum). The was found to be best feedstock biomass by DS-7. Further, process parameters inoculation time, substrate concentration (w/v) (amount waste), pH, inoculum size optimized using a multi-objective optimization technique enhance productions. study successfully enhanced (g/L) content (%) 47.9% 15.84%, respectively in comparison with unoptimized state. productivities 42% (1.449 g/L/d) 51% (1.267 greater than conditions. characteristics biodiesel obtained valorization comparable standard. Thus, can utilized potential microbial production.
